Traffic - the weirdness of search engines
Strange things are afoot in the search engines.... or to be more specific, the keywords people search for!
Before the New Year, some of my keywords were actively searched and produced quite a few visitors from the search engines, for my Home Business Ideas homepage. Strangely, after new year I get almost no search engine traffic for the keywords ' homeworker business ideas ' and ' homeworker business opportunities '.
Before the New Year, some of my keywords were actively searched and produced quite a few visitors from the search engines, for my Home Business Ideas homepage. Strangely, after new year I get almost no search engine traffic for the keywords ' homeworker business ideas ' and ' homeworker business opportunities '.
Search these keywords in yahoo.com, or many other search engines and you will see inetmarket-homeworker.com, up there at #1 or #2 positions (varies day to day).
As the income generated from Home Business Ideas homepage is quite important, from affilate programs, and my main business, the Plug-in-profits site, it is a little worrying to see a portion of search engine traffic just dissappear overnight.
Maybe its a seasonal thing? I'm not too sure, but it heeds a warning that no traffic is guaranteed. What may be todays hot search terms may just be tommorrows 'duck egg'
Be careful out there, take nothing for granted!.

I agree that nothing is guaranteed but I also believe that Search Engine Traffic is the best traffic one can get.
SEO experts need also keep up with what is working since SE tactics change from time to time. For example article submission is still effective but if one keeps using methods of last year this year they fail. Now article submission software that blast articles to 100's of directories are no longer useful!
